International Church Organization (ICO)

"For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is."
(1 Corinthians 3:11-13)

The MMI's Church Support & Development Division, through the Church Finance Trust, is key in the formation of the International Church Organization (ICO); a network or a body of churches from all over the world, that comprises of a remnant church that puts great emphasis on the LORD JESUS CHRIST; to birth a generation that is wholly dedicated to HIM - in HOLINESS and TRUTH -  to do great exploits before the Rapture of the Church, and to eventually inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.

Headed by a Board of Trustees, the International Church Organization is the special entity through which the Ecclesia Bank will finance God's work, in preparation for the coming of the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

All member churches of the organization must adhere to sound doctrine: Preaching the Word of God in Spirit and in truth; advocating for holiness and righteousness; rebuking sin and apostasy, and preparing the flock for the coming of the LORD JESUS CHRIST

The organization's operational framework, known as Project Nehemiah, aims to rebuild, repair and to restore the Body of Christ before the Rapture of the Church, based on Isaiah 58:12; a scriptural reference that summarizes the entire vision and mission of the wider Michael Moyo International.

The organization, through its leadership, lays great emphasis on the following three key pillars of the Church:

  • Prayer
  • Fellowship
  • The Word

Effective prayer, fellowship and reading of the Word enables the Body of Christ to function in Spirit and in truth, and empowers the Church for fruitful evangelism.

Prayer

"Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful."
(Colossians 4:2)

Fellowship

"Where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
(Matthew 18:20)

The Word

"This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it."
(Joshua 1:8)

Mandate of the International Church Organization:

The International Church Organization is mandated by MMI's Church Support & Development Division to create an international network of churches from the Pentecostal or Evangelical Movement through which the Ecclesia Bank will disburse funding to the Body of Christ.

Because of the many false preachers and imposters in the church today, it is imperative to note that ICO does not just offer funding or support to church ministries, but there are strict guidelines to ensure genuine ministries and servants of God are supported, as per the will of the Holy Spirit.

The organization also serves as a unifying factor in the Body of Christ; to bring together the many members of the Church to foster genuine growth and fellowship. It also helps in preparing, inspiring and equipping those who are called to serve in ministry - either as apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers.

ICO plays a key role in preparing the Church for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. This is through financing the gospel, enhancing the spread of God's word and fostering unity in the Body of Christ.

Member Benefits:

  • Members are able to receive support for the development and advancement of their individual church ministries. This includes both spiritual and material/financial support.
  • Members have the opportunity to be a part of a united body of believers who not only believe in, but actually foster biblical unity among Christian Believers as one Body in Christ.
  • Members become part of an international body of spiritual leaders, fellowships and congregations united to strategically plan, implement and execute transformative and generational change, as well as expand the Kingdom of God to all the nations of the world.
  • Invitations to Biblical Training and Mentoring, inclusive of Disciplining, Personal Development and Ministry Development.
  • Members are exposed to wider ministry opportunities through local and international fellowships of servants of God.

Membership Eligibility Criteria

"Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God."

(1 John 4:1-6)

The International Church Organization is keen on creating a network of churches and servants of God through which the Kingdom Finance Bank will finance the church and other kingdom-based initiatives. The membership criteria set, as per the organization's charter, is meant to ensure that the organization does not support falsehood and deception.

Thus, all church groups and individual servants of God to be supported by the organization must meet the following criteria:

  • Strict adherence to sound doctrine; preaching the Word of God as it is in Spirit and in truth, and without compromise. Prosperity gospel preachers, false miracle workers and advocates of false grace cannot be supported by the organization.
  • Advocating for truth, righteousness and holiness; rebuking sin, apostasy and worldliness in the Church. It is imperative to note that without holiness, no man will see God.
  • Preparing the flock for the coming of the LORD JESUS, and preaching a gospel focused on eternity with God in heaven, as opposed to mere earthly blessings.
  • All church groups supported by the organization must have been in existence for at least two years, and must be duly registered in their respective countries.
  • All eligible members must demonstrate a true burden for God's work, with at least three referees affirming their commitment to the LORD JESUS.

ICO Membership Form

The International Church Organization only enlists members who are true to their calling in God; who are actively involved in God's vineyard; who advocate for holiness and righteousness, and are keen on preparing the flock for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Fundamental Beliefs of the International Church Organization:

The organization, being a global body of churches and servants of God, espouses the basic beliefs of a true Church that reflects the image and likeness of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, thereby being His body.

God

GOD, the LORD, is the creator of the universe and author of life. God is spirit, and therefore, is timeless. Sovereignly possessing all power and all knowledge, He never tires, loses strength, or acquires new knowledge. He is all-present in the universe, and never changes.

God is one. He exists eternally in Three Persons as FATHER, SON and HOLY SPIRIT. He providentially sustains His creation by the word of His power.

God reveals Himself to us through His Son Jesus; the Word of God. We exist to glorify Him and enjoy Him forever. Because of the finished work of Jesus, we can know God as our holy and loving Father.

The Lord Jesus Christ

JESUS, the eternal Son of God, exists uncreated and is equal in deity with the Father and the Holy Spirit. The promised and prophesied Messiah is the Word that became flesh and made His dwelling among us.

While retaining His divine nature, Jesus became man, being born of a virgin through the work of the Holy Spirit. Jesus is truly God and truly man. Though sinless, He suffered and died by crucifixion as an atoning sacrifice for our sin.

Buried in a borrowed tomb, Jesus bodily resurrected from the dead on the third day. He ascended into heaven and will return in the same manner to judge those living and those already dead. He reigns forever and His kingdom has no end.

The Holy Spirit

The HOLY SPIRIT, third person of the Godhead, equal in deity with the Father and the Son, is the promised Comforter, the Helper, the Spirit of Christ, who lives in those who follow the Lord Jesus.

The Holy Spirit teaches, testifies, leads and intercedes. He directs, prompts, sends and gifts the people of God.

He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit regenerates hearts and lives in every believer from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right.

The Holy Spirit works to change us so that we conform to the image of Christ. The Christian seeks to be filled with the Spirit and live under His control daily.

The Bible

The BIBLE - containing Old and New Testaments - is the infallible, inspired word of God. Written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit, the Bible is the ultimate source of doctrine, instruction, correction and reproof.

The Bible is the final authority for Christian beliefs, and includes all that is needed for a life of godliness. It cannot be added to, subtracted from, or superseded in any way. Any prompting from the Holy Spirit must be measured against the standard of God’s Word.

While there are many pieces of evidence to the credibility of Scriptures, such as its unified message, its majestic style, its endurance despite efforts to destroy it, and its manuscript evidence, it is the inner witness of the Holy Spirit that ultimately convinces the believer that the Bible is authoritative.

Salvation

Jesus is the only way to God. There is no other way of salvation. By trusting in Jesus, we are saved from the curse and penalty of sin and can enjoy an abundant, eternal life that begins when we believe.

Following the pattern of this world, we once lived under the influence of the enemy and were by nature, deserving of God’s anger. We were dead in our trespasses and sins without hope, and because of our sin against a holy God, we deserved eternal punishment in hell. No amount of self-improvement, good works, or religion could ever make up for our sin.

But God, who is rich in mercy and love for us, made us alive through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, even though we were dead in our sin. He saved us, not because of our goodness or our good works, but according to His own mercy and for His own name’s sake. He washed us, regenerating and renewing us by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us through Jesus Christ our savior.

The Bible teaches that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved. To those who receive Jesus, believing in His name, God gives the right to become His children. We have been born again, raised up, and seated with Christ. In addition to peace, reconciliation, and access, we have been given an inheritance as children that will never spoil or fade away.

Eternity

We were created to exist forever. Those who follow Christ will exist eternally together with Christ in the kingdom of heaven. Those who do not know Christ will be separated from God in eternal torment in hell.

We believe Jesus Christ will return to Earth personally, according to the promises in Scripture. First, to take up His Church at the rapture, and later to establish His absolute rule and authority on the earth. Christians are challenged to be watchful and obedient until His return - with great anticipation while obediently pursuing the mandate of the Great Commission.

Behold! The Lord Jesus Is Coming!

From day to day, our lives revolve around the future. We live moment by moment in anticipation of what the morrow may hold. Many of the anticipated events are quite mundane such as daily routines and work schedules. However, others we may look forward to with trepidation or concern such as looming crises or obligations.

There is an event, though, that Christians of all ages have looked forward to ever since Jesus said those immortal words in revelation 22:20. “Surely I come quickly.” It is also important for us to keep our focus, because the Lord Jesus is coming, and will not tarry.

Facts about the Rapture of the Church and the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Before He establishes His kingdom on earth, the Lord Jesus will first come for His Church - the Bride; an event commonly referred to as the "Rapture."

At the Rapture, the dead in Christ will be raised and the living saints will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air and be with Him forever (1 Corinthians 15:51–54; 1 Thessalonians 4:14). In this resurrection, those who have died in Christ will have their redeemed souls and spirits united with a body similar to Christ's glorified body. True believers living at the time of this event will not die, but will be changed to be like Christ (1 John 3:2). This expectation is a motivation for holy living, as well as a source of comfort (1 John 2:28; 1 Thessalonians 4:18). No man knows the day or the hour when this will take place (Matthew 24:36; John 6:39).

After the Rapture of the Church, saints will be brought before the Judgment Seat of Christ. He will reward them on the basis of the works they have accomplished (Romans 14:10–12; 2 Corinthians 5:10). This is not a judgment to determine their salvation but a reward for labor on Christ's behalf (1 Corinthians 3:9–15). The Rapture will also inaugurate a period that the Bible characterizes as the "Great Day of His Wrath," "the Great Tribulation" and the "Time of Jacob's Trouble," (Revelation 6:17; 7:14; Jeremiah 30:7). This time of unprecedented difficulty will affect Israel and all nations. Its purpose will be to prepare Israel for her Messiah (Zechariah 12:2, 3; 14:1–3).

At the end of the Tribulation, Jesus Christ will return with the hosts of heaven as well as the Church to establish the Messianic Kingdom on earth (Revelation 19:7–9, 14; 1 Thessalonians 3:13; Zechariah 14:9; Revelation 19:15, 16). His Kingdom will last for a thousand years (Revelation 20:2, 4–6). At this Second Coming, the Antichrist will be cast into the Lake of Fire and Satan will be bound for a thousand years (Revelation 19:20; 20:1–3). The nations and their representatives will be judged (Joel 3; Matthew 25). Israel will be restored to her land, never more to be removed (Amos 9:15; Ezekiel 34:28). Christ will reign with firmness and equity (Psalm 2:9; Isaiah 11:4). His kingdom will be marked by material and spiritual blessing, since the curse upon the earth will be removed (Romans 8:19-21).

The Messianic kingdom will close with apostasy and rebellion  God will crush this uprising in the last battle of the ages and Satan will be thrown into the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:10). All those who rejected the Word of God will be resurrected (Revelation 20:11–13). They will be judged by Christ and cast into the Lake of Fire; the place where they will suffer final and everlasting punishment (Revelation 20:14, 15; Mark 9:48).

After this judgment, there will be a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness is the norm (2 Peter 3:13). There will be the New Jerusalem and the everlasting presence of God among all the redeemed (Revelation 21:2, 3; 2:3–5).

“Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.”

(Revelation 16:15)

THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH

“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Lord.”
(1Thessalonians 4:13-18)

THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST

"Behold, the Day of the LORD is coming, cruel, with fury and burning anger, to make the land a desolation; and He will exterminate its sinners from it."
(Isaiah 13:9)

The world is growing darker, but the Church - being the light of the world - must shine brighter. Our mandate as ICO is to ensure that the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is spread as far as possible, so that the souls lost in darkness can see the light, and embrace salvation before the imminent Rapture of the Church.
